On April 8th we released Automation Manager SR4.

New features:

PowerShell 3.0. support: Automation Manager now fully supports Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 and enables administrators to copy paste existing Powershell 3.0 scripts into a secure, efficient and controllable Module that can be delegated to virtually anybody within or outside of IT.

Support for Windows Authentication when using Microsoft SQL Server: To support environments with high security requirements Automation Manager now support Windows Authentication when connecting to the Microsoft SQL Server datastore.

New supported Operating Systems:

RedHat 6.0 (x64/x86)

SuSE Enterprise Linux Server 11 SP1 (x64/x86)

Additional enhancements:

Disable Snapshot Intelligence:Snapshot Intelligence can be disabled when keeping snapshot history is not needed. This is useful in environments using disk virtualization and a new disk is created every time a user logs on. This feature can be enabled/disabled globally or per Agent and Team.

Support for new license types: New license types now available to better support our large enterprise customers.

Full support for Exchange 2013: The task Microsoft Exchange Mailbox (Create, Manage, Move, Export, Delete, Query) now supports Exchange Server 2000, 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013.
