A player is only as good as his team – and to us that includes our global community of partners. We are committed to improving how we enable our partners, from the top down; and gaining feedback and insights directly from them will greatly influence the future of our partner programs.
It’s in this light that we have published two new exams within the RES Certified Professional program, and unveiled the first meeting of the RES Partner Advisory Board.
Enabling Through Education
We have expanded our partner certification program to include two new exams, the RES IT Store 2014 Exam and the RES Automation Manager 2014 Basic Exam. Both are available to our partners and their customers today, and provide the knowledge to leverage the technical capabilities of our software.
Once a participant completes these exams, they earn the RES Certified Professional (RCP) credential that serves as proof of their expertise in RES technology. RCPs, are in good company with some of the most forward-thinking minds in the industry. Here are some of our 2014 graduates who we are happy to celebrate!
Just a Mouse Click Away
If you want to establish yourself as a knowledgeable RES partner, you can begin by completing the RES Automation Manager 2014 Basic exam by May 1, 2015. Then you will have the opportunity to continue your certification with the RES IT Store 2014 exam, but that is not required for RCP status. If you are already an RCP or RES Certified Trainer, you will have nine months to complete the exam and upgrade your existing certifications.
You don’t have to travel far to become an RCP. We have partnered with Prometic, the leader in certification programs, to conduct the exams. You can schedule your exam online and then take it at any Prometric test center worldwide.
For RES Software, this certification is a shared investment in the future of our technology. We are happy to invest our resources in creating these certification tracks and we are grateful for the many who are willing to pursue them. Much insight has come from the community on ways of enhancing our solutions for customers, and we expect much more to come from this growing community.
A Network of Partners
While our exams address the technical aspect of our software, we still want to address the strategic aspects in building impactful solutions for customers. With this in mind, we have kicked off our first RES Partner Advisory Board this week in Boston.
The RES Partner Advisory Board is a consortium of our top channel and technology partners from all over the world. These partners come together with our executive leadership team to share their experiences, best practices, and go-forward strategies in helping their customers overcome major IT and business challenges through RES Software technology.
More than Just a Fun Night Out
The intention of the Partner Advisory Board starts with an open dialogue, but ultimately ends with real actionable items to enable our partners to better overcome their challenges. A key element of the Partner Advisory Board is the direct connection between the partners and the decision makers within our organization. It’s all about fostering a think tank environment where we can discuss what is working, what can be improved, and how can we better empower our partners for success. But – no worries. There’s still good fun to be had (Shhh! We don’t want to ruin the surprise!).
The Partner Advisory Board comes on the heels of the Customer Advisory Board, which was launched in Orlando last January, where we hosted forward-thinking customers worldwide. Some highlights from the Customer Advisory Board can be found here. We maintain the same overall goals for the Partner Advisory Board.
